Dr. Davide Chiasserini
Davide Chiasserini obtained an MSc in Biological Sciences at the University of Perugia (Italy) and a PhD in Neuroscience from the same university in 2009. During his PhD, he applied proteomic techniques to the search for novel biomarkers, mainly for Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis. He is now a postdoc at the Laboratory of Experimental Neurology, University of Perugia. Davide has come to the OPL to analyze data of the cNEUPRO project, with the aim to get insights on the biological functions of newly discovered biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease. Currently he is a postdoc in the context of a CCA-sponsored project to develop a kinome activity mass spectrometry-based assay using data independent acquisition.
